Senior Practitioner required to work in the Children and Families Neighbourhood Team.
As part of a specialist team/service area you will be required to assess referred clients and complete carers’ assessments, produce and implement care plans using social work or occupational therapy skills, monitor, review and evaluate care plans. In some settings there will be additional duties that may involve designing and managing a programme of care and/or training.

Requirements include a good working knowledge of the statutory framework for the relevant care group and experience of an appropriate range of professional interventions.
Excellent skills of investigation and assessment are also required.
We require that all social workers are fully qualified with a Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent social work qualification. We also require that you are GSCC registered and hold an enhanced CRB check obtained within the last 12 months.
