To ensure that children are treated as individuals at all times and that attention is given to each individual child's needs and rights in relation to age, gender, race, sexuality and disability.
To work in partnership with all agencies, organisations and individual professionals and the young person to assess and meet the needs of and improve outcomes.
Responsible for managing the Home within the framework of the Children's Act 1989 and 2004, Care Standards Act 2000 and policies and guidelines of Buckinghamshire County Council.
To ensure an excellent quality of care.
We are seeking an energetic person with leadership skills, coupled with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
The candidate will have an effective and well organised approach, be conversant with electronic client and staff systems and have experience of performance management including staff supervision. They will be expected to take responsibility for leading the staff team who work a 24-hour rota and will need to continually develop professional practice within the home to the highest standard.

We require that all Social Workers are fully qualified with a Degree in Social Work, DipSw, CQSW, CSS or equivalent social work qualification.
We also require that you are GSCC registered and hold an enhanced CRB check obtained within the last 12 months.
