Assistant Team Manager (2 posts) required to provide supervision, direction and guidance to a group of qualified and unqualified staff engaged in the assessment, planning and management of case work with children and families in the Asylum Service. To act as deputy to the Team Manager. At all times, to ensure staff operate to the highest standards and in line with Departmental and statutory requirements.

Significant experience of social work within a children and families service, undertaking supervision of staff and experience of child protection and/or leaving care essential. Knowledge of asylum preferable.
We require that that all social workers are fully qualified with a Degree in Social Work, DipSw, CQSW, CSS or equivalent social work qualification. We also require that you are GSCC registered and hold an enhanced CRB check obtained within the last 12 months.
